| How long is the lease term? |
We have either yearly or monthly contracts. You can always transfer from one to the other at the end of a lease term.

| Do you offer rent-to-own? |
We do not offer rent to own or rental credit towards purchases at this time. However, lease instruments are depreciated in price as they are rented out, so it will be cheaper to buy after 5 years of lease than after 1 year of lease.

| What if I just need it for a few days or weeks? |
That's alright! We require a minimum of one month's payment for all short term contracts. However, you can always return it before the 30 days are up. Please call 651-644-3611 or email notes@cadenzamusic.com to inquire about pricing.

| Can I exchange my instrument during the lease term? |
Yes! We offer free exchanges for instruments at the same lease rate. If you want to exchange for a different lease rate, say, a student instrument to a step-up instrument, we will only charge or credit you the difference.

| Do you offer insurance? do I need that? |
Yes, we offer insurance. No, you don't need to add it.
Our yearly and monthly contracts both include a maintenance check every 12 months of leasing at no extra charge. If you do not have the insurance, you are on the hook for any extra damage to your instrument. You can also add insurance later if you so choose, but you'll need to bring it in to have the technicians give it a good once-over for prior damage. A monthly contract cannot be insured.

| Do I need to come in each year or month to renew my lease? |
No need!
The monthly contract is on autopay. The yearly contract can be renewed online or over the phone. Don't worry, we'll make sure to send you a reminder!
